The journal publishes original research articles of multidisciplinary nature in the field of solid-state physics and materials science from researchers and scientists of all nationalities. In addition to the regular research articles, the journal publishes review articles that the editorial staff may request or based on a request from eminent authors in their fields.

The journal releases one issue per year in January and in June. The articles are available online via https://ejs.journals.ekb.eg/
