Aims and Scope

The Egyptian Journal of Solids (Egypt. J. Sol.), the official publication of the Egyptian Materials Research Society, features high-quality multidisciplinary articles in solid-state physics, applied physics to biology, optics, solid-state biophysics, and materials science. Papers submitted to EJS also cover interdisciplinary subjects in physics, chemistry, and engineering, fostering advancements in materials science and enabling diverse practical applications. It welcomes contributions from researchers and scientists of all nationalities and spans diverse disciplines, including physical metallurgy and solid-state chemistry and physics.

In addition to regular research articles, the journal accepts a variety of submissions, such as original research, reviews (narrative, literature, or scoping reviews), mini-reviews by request or from leading authors, letters to the editor, and short communications featuring advanced methods, experiments, or developments in technology or materials. Solicited or submitted review articles are also published.

The journal releases one / two issues annually, and articles are accessible online through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) at https://ejs.journals.ekb.eg/. Detailed submission instructions are provided to maintain the journal's high standards.
